The organizers of The Brooklyn Hajj combine experience in event production, online marketing, and artist management. With 20+ years of combined experience, in a handful of different countries and continents, these 2 young entrepreneurs have returned to their native Brooklyn to create an entirely new event.

Never Leave Brooklyn

NeverLeaveBrooklyn was born out of an attitude that residents of Brooklyn should never have to leave the Borough to meet their cultural and entertainment needs.  NeverleaveBrooklyn.com was created by Charles McVey to highlight the people, music, fashion, and events that define “NeverLeaveBrooklyn” through various digital media. The website has already reached over 100,000 viewers, with close to 1,000 invited subscribers.

Carbonado Management & Consulting

Carbonado Management & Consulting was created by Marvin A. Barksdale out of the expressed need of various entities to manage and create an online identity that would represent their individual brands in the web 2.0 landscape.  In response, citing the rules of new media transparency, Carbonado seeks to empower clients to take control of their own web 2.0 presence through a website that would serve as a self standing home page, while retaining the DIY capabilities of popular social media pages.
